Working Together

Twenty years in practice gives you a particular kind of clarity. You start seeing the gaps. The things practitioners need, but can't find. The education that should exist, but doesn't. The support that would change everything if someone would just build it.
I'm wired to build things. So I did.
Ascend started as a vision for what continuing education could actually look like. Courses that engages critical thinking, connects to real practice, and meets you wherever you are in your career. It has grown from a vision to reality and more is coming. This place is intended to be an ecosystem that's actively growing, and I'm building it in real time alongside the practitioners who need it most.
I've been in the room for over two decades. I've felt the isolation of building alone. I've hit the wall of burnout and rebuilt from the other side of it. I've found my niche, restructured my pricing, grown my community, and figured out what it actually takes to build a practice that lasts. That's not a credential. That's a lived experience. It is the energy from this space, I bring to every course, every coaching call, and every collaboration.
If you're a practitioner who's ready to stop feeling behind and start building forward, I want to connect. If you're a business owner who wants education that actually moves the needle for your team, I want to hear from you. What you are building matters. The work you do matters.
Why Me?
I've been a bodyworker for over 20 years, and in that time, I've learned that this work asks everything of you. Your presence, your energy, your knowledge, your nervous system. The practitioners who last are the ones who figure out how to give deeply without giving themselves away. That's what I've spent two decades learning. And it's what I now dedicate myself to teaching.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Sacramento State University and have studied the Business of Cannabis at Oaksterdam University. I'm a Licensed Massage Therapist in both Texas and Tennessee, an NCBTMB-approved continuing education provider, and the founder of both Ascend Massage Studio and Ascend Bodywork Institute. I currently serve as Lead Coordinator for the North Dallas AMTA chapter and as a mentor to practitioners building practices they are proud of.
My hands-on work is rooted in orthopedic massage and nervous system regulation — because I believe the body's capacity to heal is far greater than most people have been told. My educational work is rooted in the same philosophy: practitioners deserve CEU’s that respect their intelligence and applies to what they do every day in the treatment room.
I'm a community builder at heart. I don't just teach and move on, I stay in the room, I share what didn't work alongside what did, and I build alongside the people I serve. That's the kind of education I always wanted. It's the kind I've committed to creating..
