CBD Integrated: Understanding the Endocannabinoid System for Bodyworkers

Approved for 3 CE Credits through NCBTMB

Your clients are already using CBD. They're bringing it into the room, asking your opinion, and trusting you to have answers. If you are being honest, you might not feel fully equipped to give them.

That's not a failure. It's a gap nobody filled for you.

The endocannabinoid system is one of the most widespread regulatory networks in the human body. It connected to pain, inflammation, mood, sleep, and nervous system regulation. In other words, it's deeply relevant to everything you already do in the room. Here is the kicker, most massage schools never taught it.

I spent 20+ years in practice before I went deep on this content. I studied the research, learned the regulatory landscape, understood formulation and then I built the course I wished someone had handed me. This is that course.

What you'll walk away with…

A clear, confident understanding of the endocannabinoid system and why it matters to your work. The current evidence on topical CBD, including how to read a Certificate of Analysis so you actually know what's in the products you are using in the treatment room. Guidance on National and State hemp regulations and how to stay up to date in your area. Most importantly, you will walk away with the language to have informed, compliant client conversations while staying within’ scope.

This is for you if…

You're a bodyworker who wants to show up fully informed. Not because a client cornered you into it, but because that's the kind of practitioner you are. Whether you're newly licensed or have decades in the room, if you never stop learning, this was built for you.

NCBTMB-approved. Practical. Current. Built by a practitioner who's has been where you are.

You don't have to have all the answers before you start. You just have to be willing to get there. This is how.

Maggy Troup

For over 25 years, I’ve dedicated my career to helping people reconnect with their bodies through the art and science of massage therapy. As a bodyworker and applied kinesiologist, I’ve specialized in therapeutic massage and advanced bodywork—guiding clients toward lasting persistent pain relief, improved mobility, and a deeper understanding of their physical wellness. My mission is to help clients with inflammation relief and nervous system regulation through customized sessions.

But beyond the table, my true passion lies in education. As a NCBTMB approved continuing education provider, I have spent years teaching foundational massage courses and advanced subjects. I continue to mentor and train therapists, offering massage business mentoring and advanced massage techniques to help them refine their skills and build sustainable massage private practice.

In 2020, I launched my own CBD company, deepening my commitment to integrative wellness. That experience sparked a personal and professional transformation, leading me to become a strong advocate for the therapeutic use of CBD in massage. Today, I offer CBD massage training and courses, helping other therapists understand the science behind cannabinoids and incorporate evidence-based CBD therapies into their work to better support their clients and challenge outdated stigmas.

Whether I'm teaching in the classroom, advocating for industry change, or guiding clients through healing, my mission remains the same: to help elevate massage therapy through education, empowerment, and innovation.

If you’re ready to move beyond burnout and into your full potential, I’m here to help you build the practice—and the freedom—you deserve. Let’s ascend together.
